Entre un légende (Kid Koala la semaine passée) et une autre (DJ Format la semaine prochaine), on se la coulait douce dans les sous-sols avec une émission 100% Hip Hop électronique. Non, pas Glitch. Non, pas Neuro non plus. Non, pas abstract ... non mais diantre !! C'est quoi cette obsession de l'étiquette à tout prix !? Hip Hop électronique disais-je, avec des artistes un peu inclassable qui eux, s'en tartine le pourtour des classifications de forums, et ça vous ferait pas de mal d'en faire autant !
Un anglais au doux blase de United States of Audio a récemment retenu notre attention avec son "Scratch Mix" jadis (ouais, enfin en 2003) diffusé sur la très recommandable "Solid Steel radio" soit le show du label Ninja Tune (admirez au passage le sens virtuose de la transition d'une émission à l'autre), un DJ set ouvert sur un nombre impressionnant d'influences mêlées ici avec brio.
La suite, c'est l'excellent Lean Rock qui nous l'assurait avec une facette de son travail encore inédite entre nos murs, son penchant pour un Hip Hop synthétique, illustré par sa série de mixs "Headnod" et tout à fait propre à vous faire shaker le booty en syncope ...

An english guy called United State of Audio (what a name isn't it ?) catch our attention a few days ago with his pretty old "Scratch Mix" played in 2003 by "Solid Steel radio", the Ninja Tune's radio show (do you see our amazing talent for transition between our shows ?), a DJ mix open minded to an impressive number of influences.
Then, we looked (yeah, again, but this guy really deserves it) to the US and DJ Lean Rock, to discover a side of his work that we didn't speak about yet : his taste for electronic Hip Hop production and his mixes serie called "Headnod" quiet good to make your brain dance on strange rhythms ...
